When They See Us – Private Screening in Atlanta

Yusef Salaam and Raymond Santana attend a private screening of the Central Park5 story titled “WHEN THEY SEE US” directed by Ava Duveray now showing on Netflix. No one was prepared for what would be eye witnessed on the incredible Netflix series .

Everyone knew the Central Park 5 Story when the 5 teenagers from NYC were sentenced in 1989 but to see this story unfold on the big screen and feel the  pain and injustice these boys endured; especially Korey Wise. We were simply not prepared.

Through a series of intimate interviews and live coverage of different events, marches, protests, court proceedings, Presidential campaigns and more, this film shows the full spectrum. With testimonies from the average hard working everyday individuals all the way up to some A list celebrities and athletes like the National Basketball Association 1995 1st round draft pick Joe Smith, as he talks about the years of alienation he’s suffered along with the hundreds of thousands of dollars he has been forced to shell out. We also hear from a former Olympian and one of the greatest professional boxers of all time, Roy Jones Jr., as we visited his home in Florida. There is no gender bias at all when it comes to family law. We also hear the voices and see the faces of some women that have been alienated from their children for years! We interviewed some children and they had no problem sharing the nightmares they have had to endure. Some grew up to become lawyers, some became murderers and some attempted or successfully committed suicide! Learn how the majority of America’s social ills are due to parental alienation!

Many of you may be wondering who is this hot good looking young urban artist slaying the ladies with his heart dropping music. Well, half of you may recognize him from the Sean Combs (Diddy’s) protege group B5 which became very popular after releasing a remake of the Jackson 5 song “All I Do.” Well, Dustin Michael Breeding is more than just a child super star artist and former boy band lead singer.

Dustin Michael
Dustin Michael

He’s back on the scene with a hot new single “Piñata” (now available on itunes) that’s sweeping the clubs as one of the hottest new records in the streets. Since being released from Bad Boy records after 2 successful albums B5 and Bad Boys gracefully parted ways and the group would later sign with the legendary record label Motown in 2010. After releasing another banger “Say Yes” which garnered over 5.5 million views on you tube, the talented lead singer decided it was time to develop his solo career primarily due to problems with management.

The first single Dustin released as a solo artist would be the single “Pay it Forward” followed by a sexy, scenic, romantic and steamy music video. A powerful message was sent through this video to pay homage to those who at the time recently lost loved ones who fell victim to terrorist attacks which took place in Paris at the time.

All grown up Dustin Michael is back on the scene and ready to turn up! There is so much great music on the way! Please join us at Centennial Park on June 18th for the 2016 Birthday Bash Block Party at high noon and see what Dustin and his team have been cooking up in the lab and serving the top DJs in these Atlanta streets.

Ni’cola Mitchell panelist on “We Speak” campaign at McNair Middle School

Nicola Mitchell, Artist, Author- Photo Credit Jonell Media PR via Steed Media

Ni’cola was tapped on the corner to be part of an amazing panel group of women gathered together at McNamara Middle School to discuss domestic violence with a classroom of 8th grade girls. The girls were very attentive.  It’s easier to press forward and pretend the abuse is not taking place, then to stop and deal with issues at hand. Remember the abuser has no excuse to leave you alone unless he/she understand you mean business. To read more check out Nicola’s latest article in Rolling Out Magazine.

Screen Shot 2016-03-03 at 11.55.42 AMWhen she isn’t writing, Mitchell loves to spend time with her family and volunteers as a mentor for youth activities. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, she currently resides in North Las Vegas, Nevada with her two daughters Destani and Diamond. Ni’cola is also the CFO of Obsessive Soul Media and Co-Founder of the Baltimore Urban Book Festival. She sits on the board of the Miss Black Collegiate USA Scholarship Pageant, and manages the pageants Author Pavilion. She is also a primary panel member for the State of Black Parent Conference. Ni’cola is also the Celebrity Brand Ambassador for Premier Hair. She is a contributing writer for Urbania Magazine and FeedLynks, the Urban News Network. Ni’cola is a Strategic Partner for the California’s Women’s Conference, and is also a 2014 Blogger’s Week Ambassador. Mosaic Filmz Director of “By Any Means” Kim Fields will appear on season 22 of DWTS

Kim Fields new contestant on DWTS

Wendy Williams revealed the cast of the new season of “Dancing With The Stars” and Kim Fields made the cut. Last winter 2015 the Queen of Mosaic Filmz Armani Iman tapped Kim Fields on the shoulder to be the director of her new project “By Any Means” (a drama series being prepped and shopped for television). Wendy Williams thinks anything besides the Real Housewives of Atlanta would be good for Kim Fields to be a part of.

Does Wendy Williams think Kim Fields will win the competition? No! Not because she doesn’t think she has it in her to win, but as we eye witnessed on the Real Housewives of Atlanta Kim Fields had separation anxiety being away from her children and family. For this reason Wendy doesn’t believe she will be able to stay long enough to put the work in as you cannot bring your kids to rehearsal.

Kim Fields and her family
Kim Fields and her family

What do you think? Kim has a great support system in Christopher Morgan her hubby and the money on the table for Dancing with the Stars can run high. I think Kim Fields will try and stick it out to bring back those big dollars for the family.

Check out what US Magazine had to say

ABC officially revealed the complete list of Dancing With the Stars‘ season 22 contestants on Good Morning America on Tuesday, March 8. The new batch of Mirrorball Trophy hopefuls includes Fuller House‘s Jodie Sweetin (as Us Weekly exclusively reported last month), The OC alum Mischa Barton and The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Kim Fields. Sweetin is partnered with Keo Motsepe, Barton will be dancing with Artem Chigvintsev and Fields is paired with Sasha Farber.

The sports world will be well-represented this season. Doug Flutie, a former Heisman trophy winner and NFL quarterback who is now an NBC commentator, is teaming with Karina Smirnoff. Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Milleris joining Witney Carson, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is dancing with Sharna Burgess and UFC fighter Paige VanZant is with Mark Ballas.

Also competing for the Mirrorball are Geraldo Rivera (with returning pro Edyta Sliwinska), Good Morning America‘s Ginger Zee (with Val Chmerkovskiy), actress and radio host — not to mention Donald Trump’s ex-wife — Marla Maples (with Tony Dovolani), America’s Next Top Model cycle 22 winner Nyle DiMarco (with Peta Murgatroyd), and Boyz II Men singer Wanya Morris (withLindsey Arnold).

What are your thoughts?
